I have an HP Pavlion dv9000 and I want to wirelessly connect to this WEP secured router (mine of course). I ran the Wireless Home Network Setup, but there's one part where I need to select the model of the D-link router I have, there is no WBR-1310 listed. Just WBR-2310 and some others. I've also tried connecting to the wireless connection and it gave me a "cannot connect" of course, and expected it to give me some place to input the password for the router, however it did no such thing. It only asked if I wanted to try again or diagnose the problem. Either did nothing. Is there some other way to set this up? On D-link's site, it says this router is compatible with Vista. I've tried HP's technical help chat online, but that didn't work. Thanks for any help.

You are not the only person who has had problems with that particular router. If you search for user reviews of the WBR-1310, you will find many unhappy customers. I have always used and recommended D-link routers, but I would steer clear of this one. I suggest purchasing a different one, and return this model if possible. Good luck.
