run an ipconfig /all and check the gateway. See if you can ping the gateway. If you can't even get there, then we need to start investigating a bit further.....but the fact that she cannot ping the server really narrows it down for you.

Yes. Gateway (which is the wireless router) is 192.168.0.1 and she could ping it, which makes sense because she had connectivity to the internet.

but she can't ping the server, which means they are not talking. Check everything else, dsn, wins, netbios, make sure those are all set correctly and that her firewall is set as the others. If she can ping the gateway and get to the internet, then all connections are solid. At that point in time it becomes one of finding which setting isn't correct.

Do you use a web proxy? If so, is the correct port chosen?
