I recommend you buy a valid copy of Windows.

If you do not have a valid copy of Windows, then you can't get the update/improvements to Windows. That could very easily be the reason your computer is sluggish.

Ok upgraded to IE7 and all the updates and ****. Seems to have fixed the problem except in the process the text on my webpages look fuzzy and my videos are now all jagged drawings which i can cope with for awhile. But the fuzzy text on web pages i need to figure out. Thanks though for your help

Do you have a Video card in your computer?
If so, what make and model?

I have to re install them again? There the same drivers from before. I'm going to try and remove all my codecs and reinstall them to see if that does it. If not i will redo the drivers. I recall having this problem and it was a simple fix like me reinstalling vobsub or something.

I did the whole reinstall thing i mention above, but it didn't work so i tried to open one of the video files i had made in Virtual dub and it tells me i can't even though i made it and was able to b4. The error msg i get is " couldn't locate the decompressor for format XVID"
