Hi--I'm no wireless expert-- but I have had a couple of hardwired routers... when you "reset" it wipes everything. Your ISP probably has an address for your connection you need to reconfigure ALL the settings to allow you to connect to whoever your ISP is

Netgear support page for this model is here:

Hello Justin,

Make sure the router is connected to your PC with the cat5 cable and the cable is connected to a lan port. The wan port connects to the modem. Open your browser and type http://www.routerlogin.net/basicsetting.htm in the address field of your browser, then click Enter.

Give that a try. Let me know...

Well i tryed that addres that lord chance gave me and i got noting but that cant find page, And i have no idea as to what you are saying about the ISP. if i could figure out the isp conection where would i type it in at. Also could it have to do with the fact that im pluged into a spliter up here then i pluged the spliter main wire up to the router. Or should i have just pluged it in straight to the router since i dont need the splitter for the other computers right now. And thanks for the fast help!

Yes Justin, You always connect the pc you are using directly to the router you are trying to configure. iH8bills is refering to the things you will need to know once we get the pc talking to the router.

When you plug the cable into the router please do me a favor. Click on Start, Run, When the dialog box opens type CMD in the space. This will open a Command Prompt Window. At the cursor type ipconfig /all then post for me what it says.

See ya soon!

Ok Justin, from what I saw the PC is now talking to the router. Do this for me. Unplug the power to the router and modem then Connect the PC to a Lan port on the router and connect the Wan port on the router to the modem. Now powerup the modem. Wait until it settles down then power up the router. This should get the modem and router talking. Open a browser and try to access the router...Good luck!
