Default network connection in/out....

I'm having a small problem that I hope you guys can help with. My setup is this:

wireless cable modem-->Linksys router-->desktop pc's/laptop

On one of the desktop pc's (not wireless connection) I have tried to forward a port for gaming and bittorrent purposes. Whenever I do this, I get the little bubble at the bottom right corner of the screen popping up saying "network cable unplugged". This happens about every 3-7 minutes. I have the latest firmware for my router. I have read elsewhere on the net about people having the same problem, and no solution. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Hi dose808,

I apologise for the time taken in replying to your thread. I have sent a PM to a member of the tech team, he should be along shortly to help you.

Hi,
Do you have XP SP2 installed?

Also you will need to give us more information on this;
I have tried to forward a port for gaming and bittorrent purposes
AFAIK, the only BT client that (kind of) requires port forwarding is uTorrent..and even that doesn't really need it.

Ah, ok....I'm using Azureus as the torrent client, and I've read that if I'm having NAT problems or bad upload/download speeds, to forward a designated port. Since I have posted this, I have also read to minimize the connection settings within Azureus. I have not tried this yet. The "network cable has been unplugged" window only pops up when I forward ports. Let me know what other info you need....
