Im pretty sure i know the answer to this question but im gonna ask just to be 100% positive.... the question is is there ANY possible way to have too PCs with an active internet connection at the same time on a DSL connection without either having two seprate dsl connections/phone lines or a router?



Also incase the person happens to be using a wireless router how exactly does one work.. i mean ive never heard of a wireless ethernet card so how would the signal get from my ethernet card to the router without my card having a broadband line plugged into it?

for the wireless router there are wireless pci cards that you install in the computer to receive the signal. when you check out the routers in the store the card should be near them(in walmart they are).

what about a playstation 2 modem would you jusy plug in a iwreless card for those too? and also im guesing my answer to if you can have 2 PCs on the internet in the same house at the same time without either having two seperate phone lines for two seprate DSL accounts or a router would be no?

for 2 pc's you're going to need a router or 2 dsl accounts(router is cheaper way to go). Sony makes a wireless adapter for ps2 that will work with the wireless router.
