Default Server not found

My Shuttle ST20G5 sporadicly disconnects from the server. At start up, sometimes I have to restart before it will make connection. Then after a while it disconnects, with the window popping up with "Server Not Found". This happened both when connected with a dial-up Modem and now with a wireless router connection. I did a clean installation of Windows Pro with SP2, put on AVG and ZA for protection, connected fine at first but in about an hour and a half----loss of connection. The wireless ISP was called, they said my PC "pinged" all right. Can this be fixed? Or is it a hardware problem? Please help.

Hi there and welcome to the site.

Can you clarify what you mean by "Server" - does your Shuttle PC connect to another PC (server) within the local network...or are we talking about a regular internet connection here?

I think by Server it means that the connection to the modem or wireless is not found.
becasue the mail will not come in nor my home page will not open in the browser.
