is there any way i can change my ip adress cuz i play an online game and so does my bro hes 9 and went sayin stuff to the admis on the server so i got subnet banned so i was wondering if there is a way i can change my ip or something os i can go back to that server

Hi pcwiz,

Welcome to PCHF.

Your IP address is determinated by your ISP. Depending on if you have been assigned a static IP address or a DHCP IP address, you can switch your router off for a little while. Then when you switch your router back on, the server will assign you a new address. If you have a static address, then contacting your ISP would be your only option.

Also, are you sure you have been banned by IP address? Some games like BF2, will ban you by your gamer "Hash" code. The whole purpose of the banning process is to stop people from rejoining. Remember that the Admin's pay for the server, so it's comepletely up to them who can play on their server or not.
