Default [Fixed] Can't find network printer

I Have home network set up with 3 computers no issues. I had printer connected to CMP1 and allowed sharing, no issues. I don't want to leave computer on all the time so I disconnected USB/printer on CMP1 and connected the printer via Ethernet to router. Went to printer/faxes, add network printer, browse for printer....... it doesn't show.
I go to PC-Cillin firewall ( Had issues here before) and go to ( Detect connected computers) and the hp shows up here. I hit trust and allow this exception.....still no show in windows. This issue is the same for all computers on network trying to find printer. The above has worked in finding the other computers on the network so I assumed it would for the printer also, maybe its not a firewall issue al all.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi RWG...you'll need to find out what the IP address of the printer is - and install it again.

hello RWG421

see if this helps out a bit.

Once you've connected the printer to the network, you have to install a driver for the printer on each PC that will use it.
Driver software comes with a printer on CD-ROM. Run its setup program on each of your home PCs, and when prompted, and indicate that you are setting up a network printer. You're prompted to browse the network for the printer; locate and select it, and then follow the prompts to finish the setup process.
If you do not have the setup CD for the printer, you might be able to set it up using the Add Printer Wizard in Windows. The Add Printer Wizard supports many popular printers, and if yours happens to be on the list, the driver can be pulled from the Windows driver library.
Warning: You can set up the printer portion of an all-in-one via the Add Printer Wizard, but you cannot set up the software needed to run the other functions such as faxing and scanning that way. You have to run the setup software that comes with the unit to enable those features.
The latest drivers for your HP printer are also available from HPs support web site. Look for the link at the bottom of this page.
When you are ready to print to your networked printer on a computer running Windows XP:
  1. Choose Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes.
  2. Select Add a Printer from the Printer Tasks.
  3. Follow the steps in the Add Printer Wizard to connect to your networked printer. On the second screen of the wizard, be sure to select A network printer, or printer attached to another computer. This will help the wizard find your printer on the network.
Once you finish the wizard's few steps you can print any document from any application with a simple Print command.
