Hi,

I’m having problem connecting to the internet with my desktop.
My desktop is where the modem and router is installed but I can’t get onto the internet with it? I can connect with my laptop no problems but with the desktop I get the error 769 when I dial (This is a broadband which needs username and password but if I can get the router working I don't need to dial. Dialing only takes a second so I don't mind ).

Anyone know what’s going on?

Sorry forgot to tell you my wireless routers model. It's D-Link 524.

Are you trying to connect to it via wireless or via cable?

I'm connecting via cable with my desktop but wireless with laptop

Is there "Ethernet Contorller" in "Other Devices" in Device Manager?

OK the internet is fixed on my desktop
