Default [Answered] pathping not showing router

Hi Guys
I'm using pathping & tracert but have noticed that my Routers IP doesn't show on the results.
My 2 pc's run Windows Server 2003 and are both connected to a Surecom router/modem which in turn is connected to my phone line.
If i pathping or tracert anything then the ICMP packet HAS to go through my router but this just does not seem to show.
I've had a look at my routing table on the router and it is listed on there.

Although my routers IP is 10.0.0.2 , it does not show on any reports.
I know this is something simple but cannot figure it out.......any ideas?
Cheers

Hey Lubricant_Larry!
My welcome to PC Helpforum!

I've never used this software, but I'm pretty sure some of our Tech Team members will be able to help you out on this one.
I've you tried to ping using command?

Blue

Greetings Lubricant_Larry...

The router IP address shouldn't come up on the tracert util, not sure about the pathping.

It won't show up because they are local, if you're tracert something like google.com.au - it will only show your ip address provided to the computer from your ISP via your router.
