Unhappy 1 computer on Network not accessing some websites

Can someone please help...

We are runnning a small office network and we have 1 server and 3 client computers all running XP Pro... About half way through last week one computer can not browse SOME websites.. i pinged the websites from that computer and it times out but all the other computers get that website fine... there are about 5 websites that this happens for since last week.

Does anyone have any ideas i can try...

other info.....

it can't access www.blogger.com and www.engin.com.au, but the web browsers must find the site because the address will change to www.blogger.com/start and www.engin.com.au/public/index.htm so it must find the site but nothing displays...

I tried in safe mode and some thing happens...
I have run Skybot and Adaware and both are upto date and found nothing...
And the Virus Program is up to date...

Some One Please Help.... lol.....

Hi blitzenx...and welcome to PCHF.

Is your server running a firewall / proxy?

Can you please try and disable Windows Firewall from the computer that is having trouble connecting to those websites.

hello
maybe you should try to delet cookies an temp. internet files. If it dont help add the internet sites in question to the trusted sites. You can do it in the Tools menu/options.

Have you contacted your ISP? If they use proxies (as mine does) then this type of problem can occur. Give them a call about your issue, it may not be "local" to your PC.
