My computer is preventing me from, changing this. I wanted to install a router, but I can't because of this problem. Any help?

You could try booting into "safe mode" -- see if you can change them then... but you'd better read that routers' manual thoroughly <before> you change any setting. Go to the Manufacturer's website see if there's an FAQ section in support.
