Default Printer Sharing problem

Hello,
I have been trying to set up this home network for a while now - last post three weeks ago, but not finished.
Anyway, I went and bought some kit and installed it all but I have a couple of problems with the connection.
Host PC :- NETGEAR DG834PN router modem, WPN111GE network adapter
Second PC :- Belkin FD7050 Network Adapter
I can connect to the internet on the 2 computers that are connected.
I can access files on the host shared folder from the other desktop.
I can't access files the other way around.
Printer sharing is enabled on the host PC, but I can't add it onto the second PC, as it doesn't find it (Add Printer dialogue)

In the Wireless Network Connection Properties/Advanced box on the host, Internet Connection Sharing is not selected, and if I try to tick the box, I get an error message saying that it can't be done, that there is a LAN connection using the IP address.
In my Control Panel/Network Connections, I have Wireless Connection (Netgear) enabled, LAN Connection (VIA Compatible Ethernet) enabled and 1394 Connection enabled
I also can't disable the 1394 connection, which I tried to do in the interests of avoiding conflict.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything.

Please help! I am desperate to stop sharing my PC with a teenager addicted to MSN!
Angie

Hi Angie, let me see if I have this straight;

1) You need to print to a printer attached to PC1 from PC2 but can't because you can't install it on the second PC?
2) You are trying to use internet connection sharing somewhere in here...

Why are you using ICS when you have a router? The router does that job perfectly well and does not need you to set up anything in Windows to share out the connection. As you are have donated to the site, there is an extra support level I can offer you and will pm you seperately to outline it
