Question Hi there nice to have you on our forum!

Hi Mr Pig - interesting name

Have you tried checking the settings on (or turning off) your firewall/antivirus to see if it makes a difference?

How is your LAN setup?

Hey Gromit,

thanks about the name

yes, I`v tried to Disable the Windows firewall and the Kaspersky Anti Virus but it didn't help...

what do you mean when you ask "how is your LAN setup?"
I hope I will answer this question right.
My Lan:
I`v two computers and router connected to a Switch.
The internet configerution is throw the router (when you enter the gateway address throw the browser...) I think thats it.

Port 21 is open, and I can connect to other ftps, such as ftp.icq.com or my isp ftp ...

what can I do?

Question You're welcome

OK so we can rule out the AV and Firewall... for now. Don't worry about the LAN setup question at the moment, but can you answer the below:
  1. You mentioned that you have 2 PCs on your network do they both have the same problem?
  2. Are both PCs configured the same way?
  3. What's the ftp address you're trying to get to

It could be a problem with the FTP server using a different port. What FTP client are you using?

nope , I`m using flashfxp and the port is setup for 21 like the ftp.

another important thing that the website can't open in the computer too.. (from ie, opera or any other broswer)...
