Ok I have 3 computers I'm trying to transfer between. All are on the same network and setup correctly. Ok my main computer, I go into My Network Places and the only thing I can see is my own computer. On the other 2 computers I can see all 3. When I go into workgroups I can see all 3 of them, I can view my files, files on one other computer, but on the last one it says 'not accessible. you might not have permission to use the network resource. contact administrator' I didn't put any sharing restrictions on this though. How do i fix this and how do I see the other computers in My Network Places?

Is the user on the machine you can't see the files with set to administrator?

NP Rory,

Do all three PCs have the same operating system? I frequently have problems very similar to what you are describing because I am using XP Pro, and the other two PCs are on XP Home.

Looking forward to your reply,
