Default [Answered] Network takes two computers, but not three.

My network is set up as follows:
Two computers, A and B - also one additional wireless laptop, C. Also a cable modem.

Computer A and B connect into the network hub, along with the cable modem.
Rough diagram:

Hub:
^ ^ ^
Cable modem | Computer A | Computer B
^
Laptop

The laptop is connected to computer A via a wireless USB hub, and computer A shares its internet connection with the laptop.

The problem is as follows:
The network will work fine with the cable modem and computer A connected to the hub. The network also works fine with the cable modem and computer B connected to the hub. However, when I try to connect all three to the cable modem only the modem and computer A will work, no computer B.

All computers are XPSPII. All wired sections are RJ45. Any ideas...?

Hi cian. welcome to the PC Help Forum.

I apologise for the lack of response in this matter and understand that you may never receive this information. I will however, try to answer your question.

The problem is most likely related to the firmware of the hub - which you can find out from the manufacturers website.

If you need anymore details, please let me know. Marked as Answered for now.
