hi
have set up wireless internet router have pc connect to this by cable and a wireless network pcmcia card both operate windows xp and set wep security for the internet acces
now want to be able to file share .but need the idiots guide! as i am getting nowhere fast so if any one can give me or point me to a step by step guide would really help as i understand very little about this subject and accessing files once setup. i have named the pc and laptop and network group

Ok first of all Welcome to PC Help Forum, next to achieve your objective, you are going to need to run the Network connection wizard. This is found in

Start >>> All Programs >>> Accessories >>> Communications, and click on the Network Setup Wizard.

hello to all on the forum
i have found this started it but not sure what options i want gone through got to final screen to have alook trying what i consider to be the options hope this makes sense last screen has options make disc use winxp disc close wizard etc

update gone through pc and laptop with wizards, laptop used wireless connection not lan but appear to have got through the wizard on both ok .workgroup named the same

how do i now access the files in my shared folders looked in network places but nothing obvious also tried view work group but got a message about mshome is not accessible and admin rights tried adding a network place but couldnt get through wizard!!
