Ok, my wireless network is set to automatically get an IP Address to issue to the router, unfortunatky this morning it failed to do so. I had to repair the connection and all was well, i could gwet online. I just wondered if it happens again, which im sure it will do, whether there was a script i could run to make it get an IP addy?

you can go into ipconfig and

type in

ipconfig release
ipconfig renew see if that helps

Because, as you know all too well Merlin :-D, I just came out of this type of issue. If you are running XP, I would reccomend using the Winsockxpfix. It does a little more than the Ipconfig, as it also addresses the WinSocks, as well as renewing the DNS and cache settings.
