Default [Fixed] internet browsing slowed right down

hey, i have recently been upgraded by NTL to 1mb and before it was great, now its slowed down alot and when browsing pictures come up so slowly and i get alot of lag in games. I have never experienced this before, even when it wasnt upgraded. The download speeds of files are fine. Anybody have a clue to solve my problem?

Many thanks.

Have a look here :

http://reviews.cnet.com/Bandwidth_me...-7254_7-0.html

or:

http://www.pcpitstop.com/internet/Bandwidth.asp

Or an other speedtest site to see if you still get the speed that you are supposed to get from youre ISP.

PS, do you use p2p and have winxp sp2?

So it's not the tcp/ip limit , that only go's for sp2.

Usually pulling the powercord for 30 seconds is enough to reboot youre cablemodem.
