Default [Fixed] Zoom DSL Hardware Firewall/Router

Hi all I'm new here and this is my 1st post, I hope somebody can help me.

I use a Zoom hardware firewall on my pc that also acts as a router and connects me to the internet. Since I've been using this piece of hardware I am unable to view video content from sites such as www.launch.com. I guess this is due to my firewall blocking the streaming content and am wondering how I can get round this. Am I right in guessing that I would have to unblock a port or something? I am a complete amateur when it comes to this sort of stuff so obviously I don't want to do anything without getting some advice first.

I am also registered at the PC advisor forums but the best advice they could give on this area was "stop using the hardware firewall and go back to your old method of connection".

Obviously I don't want to do this because it means I will have wasted money on a firewall for nothing!

Anyway, any help on this area will be greatly appreciated, I'm at the end of my tether!!

Hey, my ISP is Zen ADSL? :-)

Another nugget of advice from PC advisor:

"Turn off your firewall then watched the video"

I don't think they understand that my firewall is inbuilt to my modem/router lol

There is a great guide here: http://www.adslguide.org.uk/hardware...q2/zoom-x4.asp that will take you thru the web setup for your router. If you follow this guide then your router should be setup correctly to view streaming media.
