ok my problem is that i am gettin into my network connections and im getting into properties, the problem is i want to share my connection with another pc and i found the way to do so is to go to the advance tab in properties and check the box so it allows other pc's on me network to use the connection BUT when i click advance tab there is no box i can check, all there is, is windows firewall settings a big gap where the boxes should be and then right at the buttom network wizard link.

can anyone tell me why im missing them boxes, they are ment to be there but yet they are not and i am using windows SP2

im tryin to set up my laptop with my comp at the moment (98 & xp) but when im on the network setup wizard after ive selected Local area connection in the connections box, it says "other computers cannot connect to the internet through this computer. in addition to its internet connection, this computer must have a connection to the network" and i dont know why not!! :x can u help me please?

What other equipment do you have? A router, hub or other networking, how are you connecting the PCs ?
