I just reinstalled windows xp and the guy who gave me the disk gave me a windows xp crack disk and said i wouldn't be able to update anything until i ran this disk. i ran the disk and it came with a readme file that said extract files into new folder and run installer.bt i have no idea what this means and i can't get a hold of the guy who gave me the disks. i've gone through every device manager, wizard, runner, whatever!! those will not help. they always say that something can't be found or what have you. i need help getting my audio and video back. i even went through the manufacturers website. i need to crack whatever first and i need help. please give me detailed instructions. i can't emphasize detailed enough. explain it to me like you'd explain it to a child. thanks in advance

Hello Demon
Welcome to PCHF Do yourself a big favour and toss that XP disk in the trash as that's all it's worth. Then go out and buy a legitimate copy of XP.

Hello and welcome to the Forum demoncrats..
I see that I am a little behind in the greeting, and I also note that what my friends Arctos and Wolfey have stated are fully true and correct. What you have is an illegal copy. The rules are very clear. Please take the necessary steps to correct this and we will be more than happy to assist you in any way that we can Thanks for your understanding and patience. |
