Solved: i cant finde any driver updates.

i want to update my drivers but every time i go to look for them i will eather find a website that asks me to download "Driver Detective" on not find anything at all. here is a list of the drivers i want to update.

-ATI Radeon Xpress 1150
-SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC

and just so u know i downloaded "catalyst control center" from the ATI website and it has not updated anything.

any help would be appreciated

Hello digarisor. Welcome to PC Help Forum.

First you should always go to the Laptop manufacturer's website. Assuming this is a laptop. Then try the chipset maker. When all else fail try Driver HQ or DriverGuide.com.

I strongly suggest your are infected with something which is directing you to malware.

Please follow the Instructions as in the PreWork link below.

ok thank you for the help i found all the updates at the dell website (kinda feel like a idiot tho for spending 3 hours looking at other places)

I seem to have the same problem, i downloaded Drivermax but it does nothing but pause to save internet connection :S

I have like 20 drivers i need to update because i just done a fresh install and now still liek before when i restart i get the screen going mad at boot up screen it looks like display driver but its not but i donwloaded the new ati version 9.5 one but it still stays at 8.5

so i think it must be some other driver

to fix the screen i have to hold the button in and restart that way every time and its so frustrating
