Default DG43NB PCIe 2.0 compatibility

Hi,

I need to buy a new graphic card and would like to know if the motherboard DG43NB form intel, chipset G43, is compatible with pci express 2.0. The manual says tha it has one pcie X 16, not a pcie 2x16. I know that pcie 2.0 are backwards compatible with pcie 1 but looking around I found also that some problems could exist, the intel P35 chipset for instance (looked in wikipedia for that...I'm nothing but a beginer)

Thaks in advance!

I've heard the rumors about incompatability issues with '2.0' cards and P35 NB chipsets. I haven't experienced any problems. I tried one of my '2.0' cards in a P35 board and a P45 board and got the same benchmarks with 3DMark06.
