I have a ASUS P5N-EM motherboard, it was working fine for a couple months and now when I try to start it up the motherboard alarm goes off. It won't even bring up the BIOS. Any suggestions

Check your fans to see if they are running to cool your hardware.......

the fans are running, but the system can be off all day, as soon as you hit the power button, it starts to scream.

is it an alarm or is it beeping? If it is beeping how many beeps does it post?
If it does not even go into the BIOS I am thinking something is not seated correctly (like your video card)

if it is one long tone it is usually a memory error. Do you have more than one Ram modules? If so take one out and reboot and see if you can get past the beep. If not try the other ram module.
