I think resetting the CMOS will work, because I did an update to the BIOS about a week ago, I did not use the option to clear the CMOS. This was probably the first time it had been rebooted since the BIOS was updated. Even though I did reboot it immediately after the BIOS update.

you can try it... Just make sure to unplug the cord from the power supply before doing this and take the battery out for a good 30 seconds

Good Luck

All that did was change the tone, it now goes from hi Lo hi Lo continuously. I've got two systems doing the same thing now. Any suggestions

Sorry to be the bearer of bad new but it seems your CPU has died or is dying.
If yo trust yourself enough open the case and make sure your heatsink and fan are seated properly..

It is either your cpu is bad or your Ram depending on what motherboard you have!

Take out all memory except one stick and try it. Reseat that stick before you do and make sure it clicks down in and the little clips on the side of the chip go straight up.

Here are the beep codes for your board

Everything is leading me to the video card. But it is on board. If I install a video card, will it override the onboard one.

Yes it will (should) as long as the BIOS is set to automatically read from a pci-e slot if one is inserted.
