Motherboards - Barebone - No Boot, Tried the obvious (i think) posted in the Hardware forums; Removing CPU fan and turning the computer on is realy not a good idea at all....

Removing CPU fan and turning the computer on is realy not a good idea at all.

yeah i know, but i didnt figure it was going to work anyway and i know from an accident that happened one other time that intel boards will beep like crazy if you try to boot them with no fan. I shook the dice and got lucky :P

Matteo I had this problem recently and it turns out I never had a standoff/contact issue.

The issue was that my power cable (20 pin) needed to be extremely low/touching the case. Which means I had to jam it under a bay to keep it in place.

If the power cable was up too high, it mustn't have been getting a proper connection.

Just something to think about.
