Going back to source of problem please buy a power surge extension for future work.

I got the same issue with my PC. It was working great last night and this morning when I try to turn the power ON nothing happens. I just noticed the LED light for the power supply at the back is ON solid. I tried all the stuff you mentioned and got the same result. Could this be a power supply or motherboard?

This is possibly a power supply issue if everything appears dead.

Rather than go out and buy a power supply straight away can you borrow one or do you have a spare to test the system?
