Default Foxconn 672M01-8KSH front panel connections
I have an Acer Aspire M1610 AM1610-U1201A that appears to have a Foxconn 672M01-8KSH motherboard. Does anyone know the pins on fp1 for the power switch, reset switch and power led? I can't locate a manual anywhere for this and am just trying to move it to a different case that has individual leads for each item. The Acer case had a single connector for everything.

The setup on the board is as follows:

g g r r x g g
y y p p b y y

g=green, r=red, p=purple, y=yellow, x=no pin

Pin 1 is the bottom left yellow.

I have a trouble ticket into Foxconn for you, should have the info by tomorrow night. (well, my time. LOL)

Heyya Beamfan,

Recieved a less that satisfactory reply from Foxconn , "You have reached the Foxconn/WinFast Channel Motherboard tech support team. The motherboard you describe may have been produced under contract for another party, such as Acer. However, our business unit does not provide after-sale service for it and we do not have information as to how you might obtain service or replacement. Please contact the system manufacturer. Thanks". Have since moved onto Acer. Am awaiting a reply, expect I will have something more by tomorrow.

Got a response, but I guess I still have some work to do. Here is what Acer had to say,

Thank you for contacting Acer America. I apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced. We do not have information about the motherboard specifications. We can only provide the specifications of the whole system as it was assembled in the factory. To further assist you with this matter, please contact Acer Technical Support at 1-800-816-2237 Mon-Fri 7am-9pm CST and Sat-Sun 8am-5pm CST excluding holidays. Currently we are experiencing high call volume, so please expect your hold time to be longer than normal. It will help to expedite your call if you have the following information available in front of you when you call in: Your contact information, physical shipping address (no PO boxes are accepted), your Acer product.

Good thing they don't do customer service or anything. I'll give them a call and see what they say tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me.
