Question if green led blinking by motherboard Asus P5VDC-MX
Hi,
I have about 13 months old motherboard Asus P5VDC-MX (Core2 2.8GHz, 1GB-DDR2, 120GB-HD), the computer having problem (can't started) if the on-board green led blinking (normal not). By checking all the connectors of pci cards, ram, Cables, proccessor fan...can (not always) help the computer startable, the green led not blinking. By booting come Bios error, say, that cpu fan is off. But the cpu fan is not off. The temperatur (bios) show +/- 70'C. Can somebody help me? What component must be change? Or is the motherboard deffect? Why is the green led blinking?

Hello and welcome to PCHelpForum.

You need to test your power supply or try another power supply on your computer.

Is your power supply fully connected?

Did you build this computer,there maybe a problem some were is the board seated correctly on the little risers?And not directly connected to back plate?

Some BIOS do not detect som CPU coolers... you can disable that alarm in the BIOS
