Unhappy Computer refuses to boot

hi all, can anyone tell me what i need to replace or what i can do to fix my system?

this is what happened.... after being in storage for a couple of months, my computer booted with no problems and everything seemed normal. i left it on and left the house but when i came back, it was off and would not boot. (i was gone for about an hour)

i dont even get any signal from my gfx card. i have tried removing everything but cpu and gfx card and i still get nothing, no beeps and no signal. when i removed the cpu cooler and turned on the computer, it didnt even get warm, it just remained cold and no beeps, nothing.

i have removed everything and plugged it back in, to no avail. i have checked my board for shorts and cant find any. ive also tried cleaning the mobo with a dry paintbrush.

my system specs:

Mobo: Intel d865 PERL
Ram: 2x 256mb, 2x 512mb (dual channel)
Gfx card: GeForce 6800 (128mb AGP)
Power supply: Jeantech 400W ATX
HDDs: 1x 20GB IDE, 1x 80GB IDE, 1x 120GB SATA (OS drive)

thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome to PCHelpForum.

I need you to start testing hardware.

Does the fans actualy spin up?
Could you take her down to bare boot.
Disconnect hard drives.
Remove RAM except 1 stick.
Reboot see what happens.
Remove RAM test another stick.
Do you have a spare power supply unit to test this computer with.
I know you said you reconnected everything but please double check and put CPU cooler back on.

I noticed you jave Jeantech PCWorld brand power supply, that is proberly your problem,Jeantech PSU are a cheap brand that fails easily.
