Hello dustman2008 and welcome to PC Help Forum. PC Chips motherboards are not high end boards but I have had many customers use them with good results. Without knowing what motherboard you have it is hard to address your upgradibility concern but from what I see of your components your have build a respectable machine. If it works for you then don't worry about what others say.

LC,

I know it's late (past my bedtime ), but based on dustman2008's post, I believe this is his motherboard:

Newegg.com - PC CHIPS A13G+ (V3.0) AM2 NVIDIA nForce 6100-405 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards

Thank you Cobracon. It appears that dustman2008's motherboard has room for upgrade tho the limit has been reached on the processor barring a BIOS update to extend the processor range.

Oh and thanks for the lesson. Never try posting with eyes half open. I'll remember that...

Motherboards can be bought so cheap nowadays especially am2 /am2+ boards as to make worrying about upgrading irrelevent. I personally would not upgrade this system as both Intel and AMD have new Sockets around the corner in time for the AM3 cpus and the LGA715 Nehalem which tbh I am wetting my pants in antcipation for

IMO anyone upgrading a perfectly adequate pc now needs a slap

In my opinion, I would stay with an NVIDIA card. You can get one reasonable enough. The board chipset ia already NVIDIA. No sense in taking chances with conflicts. Forgive me but I am no gamer so I must defer the rest of your question to someone more knowledgable in that area.
