Default Crashing Please help

A while back my pc got fried from a power surge it took out my power supply and motherboard along with it. So i purchased a new motherboard and new power supply also some new Ram DDr3 for the new motherboard. Put it all together and now I get these random shutdowns of my PC the whole thing just turns off no blue screen no erros listed in the dump log or nothing. It happens at random times. Some times after an hour some times after like ten minutes of being on it has even happened a couple of times in my bios menu which is strange. The only two logical pieces of hardware left that could be the problem is the GPU or CPU what do you guys think ?

Are you using the "old" CPU ?-- There could have been invisible damage to it through the motherboard...

Either one, or BOTH could have suffered damage when your Power-Supply failed... when these fail there are often surges due to voltage regulation problems--- the one way to eliminate the GPU is to "borrow" one from someone-- if it still has problems... you know it is likely the CPU.
