Angry 137928 MB System board Ram problem

Well, i cannot figure out what kind of ram to put into this motherboard... Ive tried :512 MB ddr 2700

Neither of these work, and I cannot find anywhere online to search the motherboard specs... anyone got a site or knows what kind of ram to use?

Thanks,

Any of these should work:

Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com

OCZ Ultimate Memory Configurator

SIW | Download (I use SIW with Installer)

CPUID

FREE PC Profile, Audit, and Diagnostic Report Utility

I forgot to mention that the actual computer will not work. I figure its ram problem, bcause the PC will turn on and run, but will not activate the screen, as it shuold when it is turned on.. I dont have the original ram, which is my problem...

I could use all those helpful links, but i cant get the computer to project it image into the screen.. It has a builtin chipset, so thats not the problem, i really think its the ram..

Thanks

Now you tell us?

Ok when you turn on the computer do you get any beep codes/errors?

Do you see post screen?

Are you able to enter BIOS and see if your hard drive is listed,is the hard drive listed on post screen?

A little more information please.

What make and model is this computer?

Remove all RAM putting in 1 stick reboot see what happens.Remove that stick out in another reboot see what happens.

Well, i cant see anyhting on the screen.. when i keep trying different ram , the computer will beep, and continue beeping.. Screen wont come out of sleep mode, or anything.. the harddriver, fans and everything else work, just not the screen.. ive tried different screens to, so i know thats not the problem...

Make and model...great.. umm, well if a compaq, but before someone gave it to me, they had a pc place work on it, and theres all kids of stuff in it that arent stock... The Mobo number is in the thread name, and thats about all i can give you.. the other cvomputer i recived worked fine when i put ram in it.. This one is a little older, with Sp1 on xp...

Need anymore info? ill see if i can find it...
