Question Gateway MB mounting 'standard' or unique?

The scoop: My aging home-built rig (478 P4 3.0) has an Abit AI7 MB that was slowly hatching bug after bug. It's now been down and useless for months, and investing in another old-school MB to get it back up seemed a waste. Also, I'm in a lazy rut and don't feel like learning all the latest bits and pieces, pros and cons, yada, yada. I just needed a low-buck but fairly capable home system for non-gaming, mild video-editting and MS Office usage. I'm relying too much on this 2-year-old laptop.

Without spending weeks on reasearch, I quickly settled on a refurb'd Gateway GM5626 at Tiger for $350.
????????????????????????????? (Gateway product link at left)

It shipped Friday, and a question just came to mind. The MB looks to be a normal AT footprint...but a buddy suggested Gateway was 'still using their own boards' and so moving the Gateway's internals to a prettier case might not be possible.

So...anybody know if his thought is true or not? My Antec 900 case is barely used at all, and would lend more versatility to my future upgrades (when the lazy wears off).

If you read these specifications on motherboard and case it will answer your questions.

Did I mention I was being lazy?

So it states uATX...which I find is MicroATX...which is also m-ATX, which Antec lists for the 900. Kewl...I'm golden.

Thanks!
