Hey guys I just ordered A lot of new stuff for my computer I just want to make sure its all compatible

I'm pretty sure the its all compatible im just not sure about the motherboard with the ram

The system looks good, no problems there. The power supply is WEAK!! Get a Corsair TX750W, or equialent.

Haha i know its weak i just dont have the money to get a new psu right now but will my current one run all of that ?

If the Logisys 550 is the PSU you already have, I'd say it's too small. It has a +12 volt rating of 25 amps, and the video card manufacturer recommends a PSU with a minimum of 22 amps on the +12 volt rail. Add the requirements of all the other hardware and IMO you're over the top.

I've learned from experience a PSU is the LAST place you should compromise. Short answer to your last question: NO. Everything should "light up", but underpowering a system causes all sorts of weird problems and undue strain on the hardware.

question again :-( i got all of the stuff today im on it now but every time i try to install the drivers for the video card half way through it goes to a black screen with a blinking white cursor and stays there I did get a new power supply its a apevia 680W
i have no idea what the problem could be help?

its on a fresh install of xp pro

do you give it a chance to recover? that screen is normal when installing gfx drivers.You could try installing in safe mode the gfx will not initialise then.Or just wait till you get enough power
