Never updated the BIOS. Never moved the CMOS jumper. And the System start, i just have to press F1(Continue) in order to XP to start.

Some guy told me if the SYSTEM TIME / DATE SET CORRECTLY after every boot then the CMOS is ok and not having problems.

My WHOLE pc is new, i bought it(1 month ago) in parts and then assembled it, the problems started since i tried to overclock my PC(2 weeks ago), but now even with my BIOS set as default the error keep happening.

Just in case you guys need, this are my PC specs:

1 Hard Drive(Sata), 120GB.(ONLY 1 HD).
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 4400+ 2.3GHz Dual Core.
Memory: At the moment, 1 stick with 1GB DDR2 800mhz.
MotherBoard: GeForce6100PM-M2
==========

Thanks in advance, hope to get some answer.

Hey Reynaldo, welcome to PCHF.

This is a question that has been answered many times here on PCHF. Always worth doing a search before asking any questions, you'll have your answer much quicker, and saves the rest of us repeating what has already been answered. Example can be found here: http://www.pchelpforum.com/motherboa...ock-stops.html

It's unusual for a battery to fail so soon after it has just been bought, however it could have been lying in storage for some time. I certainly hope it's not the result of overclocking.

EDIT: Marked as Answered.
