Angry Is my motherboard the problem?

I have a geforce6100sm-m motherboard, this is my layout

IDE Pioneer 109d DVDRW
IDE Pioneer 111d DVDRW
SATA LiteOn DVDROM
SATA 160GB Samsung Hard Drive

the first problem i had with it was that when restarting the computer it would not pick up any sata drives. I have tried changing BIOS but that did not help.

the 2nd problem I found after a month, I have found that both my DVDRW drives dont write properly. With nero and clonecd trial they burn 100% but when I play the discs they do not play properly like they have errors on. And when I try burning with imgburn i get abot 20 errors and it wont write the disc. For this i have tried reinstalling windows and i still get the same problem.

I think it may be the motherboard, i have triple checked all connections and found no problems. I have replaced the IDE cable and the same thing happens. My motherboard is still under warranty so if its going I try to return it to the shop.

Any ideas?

Have you tried slowing down the write speed??

When booting the computer can only find the two IDE drives and no SATA drives, then after a minute it tries to boot from the network because it has no hard drive to boot from. When i go into BIOS no sata drives are displayed even tho they are connected.

I cannot screen shot because when this happens i cant get the computer to start.

So do you think its my motherboard then? And how would i go about returning the thing if it is and i brought it from a computer shop?
