Default 9.0 error code on motherboard

Hello well once again my computer is not showing any video again.

I updated something on computer then had to restart and when i went to turn it back on... no video came up on my monitor. I tried shuting it completly down with the power switch in the back and then bringing it back up but still nothing. I've reset the cmos 3 or 4 times and took out the battery twice. The only thing that is giving me any kind of answer is the error code on my motherboard, Its giving me a 9.0. code. Now i heard it was a power issue but i've had this computer for 2 years and it hasnt done this at all.

Any idea's?
bad video card maybe?

spec:

ASUS an8 sli motherboard
AMD 3200+ 2.1 ghz processer
3gb of corsiar ram
1 - 80gb - 1 - 40 gb HD
Radeon x1300 512mb
Windows XP Pro

Any help would be awesome!

Hello Sean,I am thinking failing CPU or GPU or power supply.

Have you overclocked or changed settings say for memory or CPU in BIOS?

And removing BIOS Battery all the time resets BIOS back and back again.

430 should be ok but then again a little bigger would be better.

Sean lets test some of your hardware.

Try 1 stick of RAM at a time and reboot each time you take one out and test the next.

Double check your connections and see if your CPU is getting hot or how do your fans sound on running?

Are you able to get into BIOS?

So you have not overclocked?

If you can get into BIOS check a few settings in there?Did youchange any speeds on RAM/CPU etc?

This does seem like a hardware issue though.

Ok so i tried all 4 sticks of ram one by one and booted and still the same error code i've been getting.

As far as settings i have not touched any of the overclock settings or fan speeds or anything to do with the bios. The screen wont come up so i cant get into any of the bios settings. All the fans seem to be working just fine and the CPU is not insanly hot or anything.

Sean its either:

Power Supply Unit.
CPU.
Mainboard.
Ram.

Try removing all RAM and see if it gives you any other error code.

Are you able to test GPU in another pc?

Unplug remove any hardware not required to boot.

Do you have another computer to test RAM in?
Or a spare Power Supply Unit?
Are you sure that new RAM is compatable?
Ram bad maybe?

Try moving them around in the slots maybe slower speed first.
