Default CPU Random Restarts ?

hey recently i installed some what i thought were up to date processor drivers,
but after they were installed i started getting random restarts and windows tells me its
lack of my BIOS being updated, ive tried to find it myself online but i cant

i also often get blue screened with a message about my ram,
anyone know a site or program i can check if my ram is bad since i dont have an extra
stick to check myself?

my MBoard make is : Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH

it usually only blue screens while im playing a custom map on WC3,
maybe too much RAM is being used from improper drivers?
im not sure.

Help?

Hi there and welcome

To return your system to it's previous state, use System Restore and choose a date prior to the updates.

This looks like your Motherboard's BIOS updates to me: GIGABYTE - Support - Motherboard - BIOS - GA-8I945GZME-RH

To test your RAM, use: Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic

Hello.

turn computer on and go to device manager, right click on my computer scroll to properties and open.Click on hardware tab then device manager. You can open the lists and view your hardware by clicking on the box with an + in it.Roll back the drivers you installed recently to a previouse driver.

If you are getting a blue screen with error codes could you try and write them down and post them back here.

Could you check your RAM is seated properly and in the right slot nearest the prosessor.

Go the the link cyberdyne posted for your motherboard and download the latest drivers, chipset and BIOS update. Some may need to be installed using device manager.

thank you very much i will try some of these fixes,
Although ive tried a system restore on 7 different points,
my cpu will go through the pre-loading and loading of it,
then as soon as my cpu restarts it says will tell me it was unable to
perform a system restore.
