Motherboards - Foxconn Mobo - continuous fast beeps on startup posted in the Hardware forums; I just put together a PC but havnt been able to get to BIOS yet. I know all the parts work together but I dont remember the specs off hand. ...

Default Foxconn Mobo - continuous fast beeps on startup
I just put together a PC but havnt been able to get to BIOS yet. I know all the parts work together but I dont remember the specs off hand. I do know that the motherboard is a foxcon SiS 661FX7MJ and the CPU is a 775 socket. I've tried moving the chassis intruder connector jumper but nothing changed, and I tried moving the clear CMOS jumper but it wont even power on in the other position. What are my possible problems with this continuous series of short beeps?

Hello,you say you just built the system?
You installed the operating system then you put in Motherboard disk that came supplied with your board?
You cannot enter BIOS untill this disk is put in.

Are you using a USB keyboard and mouse?
If you are these need to be enabled in BIOS.If you are using USB keyboard/mouse plug in a normal keyboard and mouse to enter BIOS.

sounds like a ram issue to me try it with one stick
