Default Re: Computer Overheating!?

Hi Mike... when you post a problem you should start your own thread.
posting on someone else's thread -- especially for an unrelated problem-- will just get you overlooked.

I will move this to it's own thread-- I will call it BIOS Basics.

Default Re: BIOS Basics

You get to BIOS by restarting your PC and pressing the Key that enters setup, usually the Delete Key, F1 or F2, it will generally say at the bottom of the screen "Press (key) to Enter Setup"
As for settings, which ones do you wish to change?

If you are interested in the BIOS, I suggest you first look over this link...The BIOS Survival Guide

Also, something to remember about the BIOS.
Before changing anything, write down on paper the current settings in the BIOS and placing it some where save near the computer.
