I was doing a live update from MSI site, to upgrade my bios/motherboard drivers ect because i just updated my cpu/memory and needed more updated drives for all the features.

The BIOS update seems to have gone wrong and now when i start the PC i get.

I have tried several bootdiscs but cant seem to find one that works, i have the latest BIOS downloaded on another (this) pc but need a disc sorted to fix my BIOS problems. I tried reseting the CMOS to default but that didn't help.

It's not good news I'm afraid...the BIOS Rom error, this means that your BIOS ROM (the actual chip on the motherboard) is faulty. Usually, you will just replace the motherboard. However, BIOS chips are available for those willing to pay the price and wanting the task of replacing them.

If the board is still under warranty, you could try approaching MSI - explain the situation - and see if they will replace the motherboard for you...
