Flaw in board maybe?
When you unplug/replug your PSU-- you probably reset the BIOS configuration. There is all kinds of info on BIOS available-- watch out for so-called bios-tweaking apps--you can really mess things up if you are not careful. Wim's BIOS Page: BIOS Upgrades, Motherboard identification and more...
well im not pressing any keys as it is in my closet as a server that i remote desktop into. Also, I have removed the externals and than it seems to fill the boot device number 3 although i made it disabled.
The power supply being unplugged shouldnt matter. It has a bios battery for that reason.
Batteries wear out, sir.
The battery power is what allows the BIOS customizations to carry-over to the next boot-- if the battery is weak-- the settings are lost.
I know the battery is good. The motherboard is 2 weeks old and i have it over clocked and it says its overclocked every time it boots so i know the battery works or else the cpu setting would reset back to default.
