Default I Need Help!!!

Hi,

I have just built my own PC. Have been doing this for many years, but I appear to be getting an error every time I boot. The error is "Not enough space in runtime area. SMBIOS data will be unavailable.". This appears twice and the system boots normally, providing the BIOS is set to "Halt on no errors". I have cleared the BIOS with the jumper and loaded optimized defaults. There are no errors in the device manager.

Motherboard: MSI-K9N6SGM
CPU: AMD 6400 x2 Dual Core
RAM: DDR2, 800Mhz PC6400. 2GB

The error comes even if the HDD is removed.

Any help???

Thanks.............

Good day Tony-1977,

You will need to go back to the Motherboard manufacturer to see if there is a BIOS update or a fix for the problem. If your BIOS is version 1.4 or earlier then I believe you can find the fix here...

MSI -- MICRO-STAR INT'L CO., LTD.

Good Luck
LC
