Okay, I have a few questions on motherboards because I am trying to build a modded case and am having a hard time getting the motherboards to crank up.

1. What does it take to run bios? processor, PSU, ram, keyboard, monitor? anything else?

2. With two different motherboards I am having a problem where the cpu fan runs but the video wont show up, the hdd will not spin and nothing even gets hot. Whats the deal?

3. Are there any grounding parameters for a motherboard?

A motherboard

Sounds to me like a dead Power SUpply, but could just be a a wire is not correctly inserted.and it could be a dead motherboard... What motherboard do you have?

None.. As long as you do not leave it on the carpet and stuff it should do fine..
