Exclamation [Pending] Motherboard video drivers

Hi folks,
I have put a new HDD in my computer but no longer have the drivers for the motherboard, so the onboard video card doesn't work nor does sound. I have opened the PC up but cannot find a make or model on the motherboard is there any chance that there is a generic video and sound driver for motherboards?
If not is there a way that I can detect my motherboards model etc,
Thanks,
