I need to update the bios for my PCCHIPS P21G V1.0a motherboard... But my area of expertise lies with hardware, not software... so I'm at a loss on how to go about doing this. The reason I wish to flash my bios and update it, is because periodically my game crashes after an hour or so of full screen 3D Gaming, it is a VPU error, but it is not the
GFX card's fault... I have gotten the same error with 2 different cards, proper drivers for both of them.
Specs;
3.2ghz P4 HT
2gb
RAM (1 Mushkin 233mhz DDR and the other I can't remember 1gb 400mhz) running 233mhz
200gb Seagate HDD
ATI Radeon 9600pro atlantis 256meg AGP
If there is any more info I can give to help you help me... let me know!
And thanks
NightJ1986 for referring me to these guys, from what I read they are very knowledgeable.
Thanks,
Spoon.
PS. It drives me nuts when I start having fun in CS:S and all of a sudden lockup, then "NO SIGNAL INPUT" ... Argh!!!
