Howdy DaveB... What kind of money are you looking at spending? I mean the best way would just to get the 6600.. But if you want to go all out get the 6850

I see you are sticking with it. Good luck, I hope you have no problems with the VIA chipset. And just so you know, dont ever try to run a PCIe16 card in it, as it will run only at PCIe 4x speed, and therefore far slower than even AGP. If i were you, i would get the E6750. Its by far the best deal, only 20 bucks more than the 1.86ghz E6320.

Ya I agree AW ASRock are mostly used for HP's and other proprietary boards... Its an offshoot of Asus but they put nothing into them..

the best motherboards in my opinion are some made by ASUS, dont care for some of their boards though (mainly i dont like the cream color of the PCB Yuk!) Gigabyte definetly, Intel Boards are usually a good bet too. Biostar is pretty good too.

Yes Intel are by far one of the best for Intels.. But you pay the price..
I have always dealt with gigabyte though as I have been an AMD fan untill I got the 6850 qaud just to see what the hype was and gotta say Intel impressed me for once..
